Some of our favorite WordPress plugins

Here is a small list of our favorite WordPress plugins. Some we use on every website we build and some not. But this is a really good list to keep in mind! These plugins are written by the best WordPress developers in the world. I also would like to mention that the description text is copied from the plugin website. Only the plugin owner can explain his product the best.

Must have for all websites:

Gravity Forms – Build Complex, Powerful Contact Forms in Just Minutes. Gravity Forms allows you to quickly and easily integrate with a variety of third-party services such as PayPal and provides for even deeper integration with WordPress through our collection of optional Add-Ons.

Yoast SEO – In my mind, Yoast is the best SEO plugin in the market. Yoast SEO forces you to choose a focus keyword when you’re writing your articles and then make sure you use that focus keyword everywhere.

Wordfence – Our WordPress security plugin provides the best protection available for your website. Powered by the constantly updated Threat Defense Feed, WordFence Firewall stops you from getting hacked. Wordfence Scan leverages the same proprietary feed, alerting you quickly in the event your site is compromised. Our Live Traffic view gives you real-time visibility into traffic and hack attempts on your website. A deep set of additional tools round out the most comprehensive WordPress security solution available.

WP Fastest Cache – This plugin creates static HTML files from your dynamic WordPress blog. When a page is rendered, PHP and MySQL are used. Therefore, the system needs RAM and CPU. If many visitors come to a site, the system uses lots of RAM and CPU so the page is rendered so slowly. In this case, you need a cache system not to render page again and again. Cache system generates a static HTML file and saves. Other users reach to the static HTML page. Setup of this plugin is so easy. You don’t need to modify the .htacces file. It will be modified automatically.

Akismet – Akismet checks your comments and contact form submissions against our global database of spam to prevent your site from publishing malicious content. You can review the comment spam it catches on your blog’s “Comments” admin screen.

Nice to have on your websites:

EWWW Image Optimizer – Speed up your website and improve your visitors’ experience by automatically compressing and resizing images and PDFs.

Popups – WordPress Popup – The new Popups plugin can display multiple popups. Is the perfect solution to show important messages such as EU Cookie notice, increase your social followers, add call to actions, increase your mailing lists by adding a form like MailChimp or to display any other important message in a simple popup.

UnderConstruction – Sometimes you just need something simple to do the job! Creates a ‘Coming Soon’ page that will show for all users who are not logged in. Useful for developing a site on a live server, without the world being able to see it.

User Menus – Show/hide menu items to logged in users, logged out users or specific user roles. Display logged in user details in menu. Add a logout link to menu.
